1. Program Overview

 

First Touch: Soccer Foundations for Life is a free, community-based program offering beginner-friendly, low-impact soccer activities for adults ages 55 and older.

 

By registering for and attending a session, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

2. Participation

 

This program is designed as a low-impact, non-competitive activity.

 

By participating, you acknowledge that:

  • Activities are voluntary

  • You may stop at any time

  • You are responsible for participating at a pace that feels comfortable for you

 

Participants are encouraged to consult a physician before participating if they have any health concerns.

 

3. Assumption of Risk

 

Participation in outdoor physical activity involves some level of risk, including but not limited to slips, trips, or minor injuries.

 

By registering, you voluntarily assume responsibility for any risks associated with participation and agree to take part at your own discretion.

 

4. Release of Liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless the program organizers, volunteers, and affiliated partners from any claims, injuries, or damages arising from your participation in the program.

 

5. Registration & Attendance

 

  • Space is limited and registration is required

  • Participants may register for multiple sessions based on availability

  • If you are unable to attend, please notify us so your spot can be offered to others

 

We reserve the right to manage attendance to ensure a safe and balanced experience for all participants.

 

6. Weather & Schedule Changes

 

Sessions are held outdoors and may be affected by weather or park conditions.

Participants will be notified of cancellations or changes via email or phone. We are not responsible for any personal costs associated with schedule changes.

 

7. Health & Safety Expectations

Participants agree to:

  • Follow instructor guidance

  • Wear appropriate footwear (no cleats)

  • Use caution while participating

  • Take breaks as needed

 

We reserve the right to pause or modify activities to maintain a safe environment.

 

8. Code of Conduct

 

We are committed to providing a respectful, welcoming environment.

Participants are expected to:

  • Treat others with kindness and respect

  • Follow program guidelines

  • Contribute to a positive group experience

 

Participants who engage in disruptive or unsafe behavior may be asked to leave.

 

9. Media & Photography

 

From time to time, photos or videos may be taken during sessions for program promotion.

By participating, you grant permission for your likeness to be used in program-related materials unless you notify us in writing in advance.
